On Thursday April 28, 2022 the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released an announcement for a save the date for Medicaid Unwinding All Tribes Consultation Webinar. This Webinar aims to provide an overview of expectations and requirements for states when restoring enrollment operations from before the Public Health Emergency (PHE).
This webinar will also detail an in depth overview of the Unwinding Communications Toolkit and guidance already published by CMS in the March 2022 State Health Official (SHO) Letter on the expectations of states to restore both eligibility and enrollment operations for Medicaid beneficiaries.
Information from this Webinar may be beneficial for Tribal health care facility staff who work with Medicaid beneficiaries or Medicaid eligible individuals, in understanding upcoming changes that could effect their provider population.
